Nan Thompson Katsaboulas

Nan Thompson Katsaboulas is a partner with Thompson & Associates, LLC. The youngest of Clifford and Cheryl Thompson’s four children, Katsaboulas is a lifelong resident of Jackson, Mississippi, and graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi, graduating cum laude in 2001. Following in her father’s footsteps, Katsaboulas graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi Law School in 2004 with a degree of Juris Doctor. She was admitted in 2004, and is a member of the American and Mississippi bar associations.

Katsaboulas began her legal career in 2004 as an associate with the law firm of Butler Snow, specializing in mass tort litigation. Following Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, Katsaboulas joined Thompson & Associates as a partner, helping to advise clients such as State Farm Insurance and Harrah’s Hotels & Casinos in legislative matters and public policy. Today, Katsaboulas’ primary focus is providing the firm with in-depth legal research on all state laws and bills related to Thompson & Associates clients and developing detailed reports to keep clients informed about issues affecting their interests.

Katsaboulas and her husband Kanello, owner of Kats Wine & Spirits in the Belhaven district of Jackson, are parents to two daughters, Kate and Abby, and are active participants in their community and church.
